2 Night Food and Heritage Trail incorporating Kilkenny and Waterford Discover The History of Ireland’s Ancient East you travel south to Waterford via Kilkenny. Our Good Food Ireland Experience offers a personal tour and tasting of local artisan cider and gin distillers before journeying onwards to the traditions of comfort, excellent service and hospitality in one of Waterfords most historic hotels where you will enjoy graceful service in it’s purest element. Dine this evening in Biaconi Restaurant at Granville House Hotel and relax in the wonderful surroundings where the décor is charming and ambience is old fashioned elegant offering stunning views over the Quays in Waterford City. Taste the famous Waterford Blaa, a traditional bread only kneaded in Waterford. Get certified in Irish Whiskey tasting before retiring to your comfortable and elegant bedroom, perhaps after a nightcap (or two!). The following day visit the famous Waterford Crystal Centre, established on the 3rd October 1783 for a tour of this award winning attraction. Time to head back to the Granville and get changed for this evenings dining experience in the mediterranean style Bodega restaurant where you will enjoy dinner and a cocktail. Bodega owner Cormac Cronin strives to provide the best in local produce food all served up in a fun atmosphere so you're sure to enjoy your night out in the city. Afterwards stroll back to the nearby Granville Hotel where you will feel like a regular already for your second overnight bed and breakfast stay in relaxed elegance.
