2 Night Gourmet Getaway Galway & Connemara

This tantalising food lovers tour takes you through the bustling city of Galway to the wilds of Connemara along the famous Wild Atlantic Way. Enjoy this immersive experience where you will be given the VIP treatment as you enjoy tasting menus in Michelin star restaurants and personal Chef meets staying in hidden gems overlooking idyllic harbours and get to know the Good Food Ireland family personally. Irish Culinary Vacations with Good Food Ireland on The Wild Atlantic Way. The Gourmet Getaway along the Wild Atlantic Way bespoke gourmet experience takes you from the heart of Galway city centre along the Wild Atlantic Way through the wilds of Connemara to the fabulous Renvyle House. Starting with an overnight stay in The Herons Rest boutique bed and breakfast run and owned by Ballymaloe Cookery School graduate Sorcha Molloy. This artisan boutique bed and breakfast rests overlooking the Claddagh and Galway Bay in Galway City. Enjoy an 8-course tasting dinner at a Michelin Restaurant where wild and seasonal foods are key and enjoy a personal Chef meet. Saturday morning take a stroll around the bustling streets of Galway before heading off toward Renvyle House Hotel stopping off en route in the picturesque village of Moycullen just outside Galway on the Clifden road for a light lunch. Enjoy a main dish freshly prepared such as Galway Goat’s Cheese Salad with a Honey & Soya Dressing, Open Burren Smoke House Smoked Salmon & Shrimp Sandwich, White Gables Seafood Chowder or their very popular Fish & Chips followed by a sweet treat from the Dessert Cabinet! After lunch you will continue along the Wild Atlantic Way as you make your way to Renvyle House Hotel and Restaurant where you will arrive to a welcome drink and a personal meet with executive chef Tim O'Sullivan to discuss your evenings' 5-course gourmet menu. Why not enjoy a nightcap or two before retiring for a luxurious night's sleep.
